Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini Given 8 Year Ban From Football Related Activities

Suspended FIFA president, Sepp Blatter as well as UEFA President, Michel Platini have been handed 8 year bans from all football related activity.
FIFA’s Independent Ethics committee announced the decision today and said the ban will take effect immediately.
Platini and Blatter are both embroiled in several corruption allegations and their ban is a culmination of FIFA’s investigation.
Along with their ban, Sepp Blatter has been fined £33,712 while Michel Platini was fined £53,994.
